"I found the last glass of wine mixed with cigar ashes and sadness" [Charles Bukowsky]
Barfly Way is a visionary project with images shot in Palermo (Sicily), Rome and Paris
with an "ad hoc" analog camera and Black & White films.
It's the world seen through the glass of a whisky bottle.
A whisky bottle as viewpoint , the eye of exclusion, a filter that transfigures the reality of the modern towns: the empty spaces full of lights, the faint silhouttes of people passing by, the intensity of cardboard looks.
An altered vision of the outside world, as the one provided by alcohol, with its expanded boundaries of sensory perception.
A journey through presentday solitude and lack of communication.
